Lubéron is our favorite part of Provence with its spectacular countryside of vineyards and orchards, strikingly picturesque perched villages, and the light of Van Gogh and Cézanne. Dive into the warm and gentle local lifestyle as you settle into a typical Provence house called a Mas, which will contribute to your complete immersion in the Provence art de vivre.

Experience blooming fields of lavender, enchanting medieval villages and lush vineyards. Peruse the vibrant Provençal markets and antique shops, and enjoy rich and colorful escapades in the footsteps of Van Gogh and Cézanne.

Chef Sunshine is a professionally trained Chef and owns a successful catering business in the Pacific Northwest. She has worked all over the world as a private Chef and in renowned restaurants.

Huguette is a gastronome and international event and lifestyle consultant, with extended experience in her native Provence region. She owns French Moods, a French lifestyle company. Delicious food and wines are an integral part of this journey, from finest gourmet cuisine to delicious home-cooked fare, our meals are always colorful, authentic and flavorsome and enjoyed in a leisurely French fashion.

ITINERARY

Saturday Day 1 – May 25th

Arrival at Marseille or Avignon airport, and transfer to the Mas.

Meet & greet and welcome dinner at the Mas.

Sunday Day 2 – May 26th

Home-made breakfast.

Tour of Isle Sur La Sorgue famous Sunday Market. Lunch at the Village des Antiquaires de la Gare, third largest European antique market.

Free afternoon to peruse the antique shops along the waterwheels and canals of the Sorgue river.

Home-made dinner.

Monday  Day 3 – May 27th

Home made breakfast.

Your first hands-on cooking class based on what we found at the market, followed by a lovely lunch.

Relaxing time by the pool in the afternoon and aperitif in the evening.

Dinner at a gourmet restaurant.

Tuesday Day 4 – May 28th

Home-made breakfast.

Visit of  the Abbaye de Sénanque near Gordes.

Lunch in one of the best restaurants in Gordes and visit of the village.

Tour of Roussillion and its ochre canyons in the afternoon.

Home made dinner.

Wednesday Day 5 – May 29th

Home-made breakfast.

Visit of a local oil mill with olive oil tasting, and tour of a local winery with private wine tasting.

Provençal picnic for lunch.

Second hands-on cooking class in the afternoon followed by dinner.

Thursday Day 6 – May 30th

Home-made breakfast.

Visit of Quarry Les Baux and the exceptional Cathédrale des Lumières.

Lunch in one of the gourmet restaurants in Les Baux de Provence.

Tour of the Lavender Museum in the afternoon and home-made dinner.

Friday Day 7 – May 31st

Home-made breakfast.

Tour of Bonnieux market to gather ingredients for your third hands-on cooking class.

Cooking class followed by late lunch.

Relaxing time by the swimming pool and aperitif in the evening.

Dinner out in a special local restaurant.

Saturday Day 8 – June 1st

 Home-made breakfast.

Apt famous market followed by a free-time for your lunch and afternoon in Apt.

Visit of a Provençal bakery as an option.

Home-made dinner based on our market finds.

Sunday Day 9 – June 2nd

Home-made breakfast.

Free day

Home-made farewell dinner.

Monday Day 10 – June 3rd

Home-made breakfast & transfers to Marseille or Avignon airport.
